A climate walk is an interactive activity that combines exploring natural landscapes and historical landmarks with learning about the impact of climate change and sustainable solutions. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and inspire concrete actions for a greener future.

Itinerary

  1. Paj Hotel
    • Time: 9:30 - Meeting place and organization.
  2. Peles Castle and the Castle's Gardens
    • Description: Visit Peleș Castle, an example of energy sustainability due to its private hydroelectric power station, and its spectacular gardens.
    • Estimated Time: 45 minutes.
  3. Peleș Hydroelectric Power Station
    • Description: Stop at the first hydroelectric power station that provided Peleș Castle with energy independence.
    • Estimated Time: 30 minutes.
  4. Sinaia 0 Hydroelectric Museum
    • Description: Discover one of the oldest hydroelectric plants in Romania, a symbol of renewable energy.
    • Estimated Time: 30 minutes.
  5. Dimitrie Ghica Park
    • Description: A relaxing walk among century-old trees while learning about the importance of urban green spaces.
    • Estimated Time: 30 minutes.
  6. Bucegi Natural Reserve Museum (in Dimitrie Ghica Park)
    • Description: An educational stop to learn about the flora, fauna, and mountain ecosystems of the Bucegi Mountains.
